Waiterio supports the automatic opening of cash drawers.
A cash drawer needs to be connected to a thermal printer with an old telephone cable of type RJ11 or RJ45. A telephone cable of type RJ11 or RJ45 is different from an Ethernet network cable even though they have a similar shape.
If your thermal printer has two ports for the cash drawer cable than you should use PORT 1.
